Fox Hill Cabin will make you fall in love. Uphill from the main Lodge in Paint Bank, is the Fox Hill Camp. This rustic cabin is located on Little Mountain at the Depot Lodge, Paint Bank, Virginia. It can sleep up to four people. You’ll find a charming sleeping area upstairs with a king sized bed. The downstairs great room has a queen sized sleeper couch, perfect for children or additional guests. Two bathrooms, one each on the two levels, provide privacy and convenience to all. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area adjacent, a gas stove, two flat screen TVs, direct phone line and stunning views from the front porch or back porch.
Ponderosa Log Cabin. Ponderosa is a log cabin on Potts Creek, located in a quiet location just 5 minutes away. This luxurious cabin has a wood-burning stove and comfortably sleeps six. The upstairs bedroom has a king-size bed, a sleeping loft with a single and trundle bed, and a bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and an additional bathroom. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. It also features a dining room, living room, and dining room. Both porches have been furnished to provide breathtaking views of mountains. Along the creek, there is a firepit for roasting marshmallows as well as a hammock to take a nap in. Pott’s Creek Outfitters offers fishing packages. Please note that there is an extra fee for fishing in the cabin. Creekside Cabin has a 2-night minimum stay.
Main Lodge. This restored 1909 train depot 1909 is a step back in history. It offers modern accommodations including a main room, a sitting area, and beautifully appointed bedrooms. The rustic decor evokes the past. Glamorous Camping. The property features three luxuriously furnished Glamping tents, which offer unique accommodations for Campers who are looking for amenities and luxury in the great outdoors. The Paint Bank General Store has groceries, gasoline, and an extensive line of buffalo, penny candy, beer, wine, and soda. Upstairs you will find a unique experience. You can admire our wildlife display with a babbling creek and cross a swinging brook. They have a Christmas shop that is open all year round, in addition to their many gift options.
Tinglers Mill. Tinglers Mill, a picturesque, water-powered mill located behind the Paint Bank General Store. During your vacation, you can walk around the back to watch the big wheel turn. You can feed trout by climbing the stone stairs that lead to the mill’s pond. The mill hosts crafters every weekend from early Spring until late Fall. They sell their wares, and give demonstrations. Hollow Hill Farm. Pure American Buffalo Farm, which offers breeding and market stock, is a farm you’ll love. Located along Route 600 Virginia and West Virginia. The area has two hiking trails, Dragon’s Tooth & Cherokee Flats. These are located about 20 miles away, on Route 311 / Route 600.
