The cabin is in Fayetteville (Tennessee), which was occupied for most of Civil War. Union troops even built a bombproof wall in the second of four courthouses in the town square. This town, along with several others, organized city bands in the late 1800s. They built a bandstand at the courthouse lawn to show their talents. Today, the bandstand is used for community events and festivals. The Southern Pride Distillery, which produces premium craft spirits, is a great place to visit during your vacation. Their products are made in a copper-pot still and are very much like the old days. The distillery uses locally grown corn, and the water comes directly from a natural spring. We invite you to stop by and take you on a tour through the distillery and natural spring.
