The home does not have a large porch at the back, but it does have an entrance on the side near the stone chimney.
The front porch entry is made up of a simple wooden door that sits between wall lights. It feels welcoming and gives you a place to welcome guests in comfort.
The living area is to the right, just through the front entrance. You will find the stairs leading to the loft.
You can see in the background the kitchen and bathrooms through the doors at the back of the short hall.
The open space living room has enough room for sofas and armchairs. The fireplace is located on the wall opposite the side entrance. This room is suited for a corner TV stand. You can see how different furniture arrangements could create a completely different feel and focus in the room.
I love the look and feel of this fireplace. It has a small chimney above the squared-off base, and it looks almost like a house with a log mantle against a wall.
I like that the loft space can be used for a variety of purposes. It could be a home office, a sleeping area, or even a game room for kids.
You can see the kitchen on the left, and the bathroom behind the stairs. Behind the loveseat, on the left, are stairs that lead up to both the loft and basement.
On the opposite side of the living area is the kitchen. There is no formal dining room, but there is enough space for a small set of chairs and a table. They have added a seating space on the bar at the outer edge of the room.
I like the marbled countertop that looks great with the stainless appliances and light wood cabinetry.
The side of the bar closest to the living room has plenty of space for seating. The other side of the bar is full of storage areas for you to store your cooking tools, utensils and pantry.
The farmhouse sink is one of my favorites in this house. It is a popular feature in many homes, and it fits well with both the rustic look of a log cabin as well as a modern farmhouse style.
If you love the raw wood look of this home, it includes half log stairs going upstairs and downstairs. I love this little feature!
The log railings are adorned with black iron spindles for a striking contrast. They also provide the necessary security.
What a view! This home is a great example of how cathedral ceilings can be used in the main living space.
In the loft, they created a separate sleeping area. The loft has three beds, and is set up to look like a hunting lodge that is only used occasionally. As you can tell, there’s plenty of space here for beds and sofas, TVs, games or whatever else you want to do in your home.
The main floor master bedroom is not fancy, but it is large and comfortable. It features dark stained wooden floors and light colored walls and ceilings.
You can also add a chest or dresser, and a wardrobe for extra storage. The ceiling fans in each room are a great way to keep cool during the summer.
A basic bathroom will have the classic bathroom, which includes a bathtub/shower combo, a sink and vanity, and a toilet. It’s simple and comfortable.
