The cabin is located 8 miles from downtown Sequim and in a great area for day hikes. The area offers award-winning wineries and a wide variety of annual festivals. The cabin is off the grid. The cabin has 398 square feet of space. The cabin is an open studio with a bathroom and a user-friendly kitchen with everything you need except a full-sized oven. The kitchen has a toaster/convection oven and two-burner portable cooktop, perfect for a couple of days of stay.

The cabin has large windows that create an atmosphere of sleeping in the woods. The cabin has a few games for two people, the tv has DVDs and VHS movies, however, there is no cable or wifi. The cabin is off the grid. Parking is not a problem, you will want to note that the cabin has a gravel driveway so you’ll want to keep it at 10 to 15 mph, it can be a little bumpy. There is a firewood place on Gilbert (behind Ohana Coffee Stand) just across from Taylor Cut-off Rd. It’s the intersection to the cabin off the highway. You are more than welcome to use the firepit the owners ask that you have experience with wood stoves before you try and use the fireplace in the cabin.

They have a wide open space and are surrounded by DNR land and neighbors who have 10-acre parcels. The property is very nice and private with a security gate at the entrance to the property. Once you leave the main road of Lost Mountain Rd. The gravel driveway is about 1/2 mile long to the cabin. You will pass five homes along the way. You do not need a 4-wheel drive except for times in the winter months when there is snow. The owner VW Bug has done just fine for the past 16 years. 4×4 or all-wheel drive is recommended in the winter months. You’ll want to inquire about snow.
